School Attendance

Increasing positive associations with school attendance is important to us. We believe that it is possible to disarm bullying and increase school attendance, but students must be shown the way.

Lifehouse youth services offer a once a week lunch time rally. It runs as a follow up to the ‘self’ strength and shine program but can be adapted if schools opt for this program first.

The rally is flexible in location and look to meet the needs of the students. It involves food and loads of fun, to create a weekly highlight and increase positive school attendance.

School Engagement

We are fully aware of the growing needs that are facing families today. One of these needs such as food and meal times are often left to the school to resource.

Lifehouse youth services can offer support through providing a before or after school pancake party. We would like to work with schools to meet these needs to help teenagers stay engaged within class time, and fed outside of school time.
