Helping transform young people's lives

The aim of Lifehouse is to reach out to, educate and support young men and women who are at risk emotionally, socially and in respect of their physical and psychological health. Lifehouse will create and establish frameworks of support and education to raise awareness around issues facing young women and men such as self-harm, addictions, suicide, eating disorders, unplanned pregnancy, depression, unemployment and poverty as well as other life issues and to assist young men and women to address and overcome those issues.

Lifehouse board consists of seven members from the Palmerston North community. Each person has a set of skills to help support the goals and outcomes of the board. The role of the board is to provide effective governance and support. We aim to work alongside other agencies to collaborate and build positive relationships to strengthen our cause.

Walk for Love

We are gearing up and planning for our 4th Walk for Love fundraiser in 2019. We invite you, your friends and family, and your workmates to join us to show support for teenagers at risk, and to help raise funds to go towards the creation of a Lifehouse home. Our registrations will be open shortly, so come back here to register then but in the mean time spread the news by sharing our website or facebook with friends and family. More details to come early 2019. We can’t wait to meet you!
